In March, we are praying for the Americas. Please pray…

 1. We pray for girls who have been sold by their parents to traffickers. Heal their pain and draw them to know you as their loving and caring Father. (Rev. 21:4)

2. Lord, we pray for integrity and accountability among the leaders of Bonaire, and we ask for justice to prevail in the island’s governance. (Prov. 29:2)

3. Jesus, you modelled for us how to live a life of loving others well. Awaken Christians in Brazil to follow you in caring for immigrants and refugees and the marginalized. (John 13:34)

4. Indigenous women in Canada face a much higher risk of kidnapping and murder. Lord, protect and heal them and bring heart change to those committing this violence. (1 Pet. 3:12)

5. Lord, we pray for good employment opportunities and fair wages for women in Chile. May they be valued for their talents and abilities. (Jer. 22:13)

6. God, may programs and ministries be developed in Costa Rica that provide emotional, spiritual and practical support to women in need, especially single mothers. (Gal. 6:2)

7. Lord, we intercede for more women in Cuba to know Christ and be discipled, becoming living testimonies of his love and grace. (John 8:31-32)

8. Father, comfort those who have emigrated from the Dominican Republic for economic reasons. Heal the pain caused by physical, emotional and spiritual distance from family and home. (Ps. 34:18)

9. In your mercy, Lord, uproot the criminal violence within Mexico. May its people turn to you for restoration, consolation and the security they seek. (Joel 2:25-26)

10. Lord, grant favour and grace to our team in Paraguay as they present projects to the national government and seek to creatively help vulnerable women there. (Ps. 5:12)

11. Many families in Uruguay live in housing without water or electricity. God, grant their leaders the wisdom and resources to build quality homes, especially when children are involved. (Matt. 7:25)

12. Father, may your Spirit of truth help young women in the U.S. to discover that in Christ alone there is no striving – he is the source of their true identity. (John 1:12)

13. Lord, we intercede for the safety of women in Venezuela who are facing domestic, gender-based or exploitative violence. Bring justice and restoration to their lives. (Ps. 72:14)

14. Lord, we pray for economic growth on Bonaire so that businesses thrive and provide job opportunities for its people. (Phil. 4:19)

15. God, grant wisdom and sensitivity to our TWR Women of Hope Brazil team as they produce content and strategize how to grow and publicize the ministry. (Col. 1:9)

16. The majority of sex trafficking in Canada occurs in the “Highway 401 corridor” of Ontario. Lord, we pray for the organizations working to fight this exploitation. (Ps. 82:3)

17. Lord, heal and strengthen women in Chile who are facing illness, stress or anxiety in their lives and families. (John 14:27)

18. God, may young women in Costa Rica be guided by Christian values, make wise decisions for their future and be motivated to fulfill their purposes in God. (Phil. 4:8)

19. Lord, grant patience, wisdom and resources to mothers, women and teachers in Cuba as they guide the next generation. (Deut. 6:6-7)

20. Corruption in governments generates chaos and oppression for people. God, allow your light to reveal and remove those in the Dominican Republic who promote and sustain such turmoil. (Ps. 7:9)

21. Bring your light into the hearts of leaders in Mexico, Lord, so that they may lead with your wisdom and understanding. (Prov. 9:10)

22. As women in the Villarrica prison in Paraguay are discipled each month by our team, may they be saved and mature in their faith. Father, protect them from the men who share this same prison. (Prov. 3:29)

23. Lord, may parents in Uruguay find good employment so they have enough money to provide for their children. Thank you for schools that are feeding students. (Ps. 145:15-16)

24. Father, protect and heal girls on U.S. college campuses who have been sexually assaulted or exploited. Bring real change both to campus policies and the hearts of the perpetrators. (Isa. 60:18)

25. God, please provide food, medicine and essential resources to women in Venezuela amid this country's economic difficulties. (Deut. 15:11)

26. As Bonaire’s population increases, there is a scarcity of affordable housing. May families be able to find and pay for a place to call home. (Ps. 127:1)

27. Father, we ask that all corruption be uprooted within Brazil so that the entire nation will be blessed with freedom and prosperity. (John 8:36)

28. God, may your Spirit guide Christian women in Chile to serve their churches and communities with wisdom and love so that they will positively impact their environments. (1 John 3:18)

29. Lord, may women in Cuba come together in community to support one another in prayer, friendship and practical help. (Acts 4:32)

30. God, may the rulers who took office last month in Uruguay fear you and seek you for wisdom as they govern this nation. (1 Tim. 2:1-2)

31. Lord, strengthen the hearts of weary mothers in the U.S. May your presence and Word protect them from burning out. You are their wellspring of living water to refresh their souls. (John 4:13-14)
