In April, we are praying for outside forces. Please pray…

1. Lord, awaken the consciences of politicians around the world to create and enforce laws against those who commit the crime of human trafficking. (Ps. 82:4)

2. God, Albania’s economic condition is causing many of the younger generation to leave the country, desiring to be refugees in Germany or the U.S. rather than stay in their homeland. (Lev. 19:33-34)

3. Merciful Father, please provide for the needs of the multitudes of families in Benin and around the world who are homeless due to wars and political tensions. (Ps. 23:1)

4. Lord, may migrants on Bonaire find good life opportunities and acceptance within the society around them. (Heb. 13:2)

5. God, guide and direct the new Botswana political regime as it tries to bring order in the nation and deal with serious issues of corruption among former leaders. (Dan. 2:21)

6. Father, many Cambodians are leaving their families and working illegally in other countries because of economic crisis and unemployment. Please help them find work. (Deut. 24:14)

7. Lord, raise up Canadian Christians to engage in refugee ministry that supports women refugees in precarious situations and other vulnerable people resettling there. (Deut. 10:18-19)

8. Lord, in your mercy, uproot any corruption in the Central African Republic government that is bringing misery to its people. (Deut. 16:19)

9. Father, there is not enough suitable land in China to grow crops to feed the population. Grant leaders wisdom in how to ensure food security for its people. (Prov. 2:6)

10. We lift up the situation in Israel and Gaza, asking you to bring peace to this region, Father. Pour out your healing and provision on all the innocent and rescue the perishing. (John 16:33)

11. The king of Eswatini has recognized that high poverty and unemployment rates of 35.4 per cent constitute a national emergency. Give their leaders wisdom, Lord, to create jobs and offer skill training. (James 1:5)

12. God, give strength and wisdom to our Ukrainian and Russian TWR Women of Hope teams to create encouraging, comforting and informative programs for listeners who suffer from the ongoing war. (Deut. 31:8)

13. Heavenly Father, we ask that, during times of extreme weather, you protect and provide safe shelter for Indonesians who live in disaster-prone areas. (Ps. 31:2)

14. As the population in Japan both ages and decreases, its economy is stagnating. May its people look to you, Lord, for solutions to these difficulties. (Ps. 105:4)

15. Father, we ask that members of South Korean churches become more active in bringing the gospel message to the 2.5 million foreigners living in the country. (Mark 16:15)

16. We pray for an end to unfair labour practices in Liberia, Lord. May the people benefit from their labour and receive fair wages to meet their basic needs. (Eccles. 3:13)

17. Father, protect the street children of Mali against all the dangers they face as they survive by begging. Bring adults into their lives to provide and care for them. (Prov. 31:8-9)

18. Lord, we ask you to cleanse Mongolia’s government of corruption. May the leaders act justly with reverence for you and guide the nation in peace. (Mic. 6:8)

19. Lord, we ask for an end to violence in Myanmar. May the leaders and citizens embrace dialogue that fosters peace, unity and reconciliation for all communities. (1 Cor. 1:10)

20. Father, may your faithful presence encourage the hearts and minds of worried wives whose husbands are away at war. (Ps. 55:22)

21. Father, grant Nigerian government leaders the wisdom and creativity to establish policies that will alleviate poverty and insecurity. (Prov. 21:1)

22. Lord, strengthen and bless the migrant missionaries who are bringing the gospel to the people in the North Caucasus. (Matt. 28:19)

23. Lord, guide the leaders in Papua New Guinea as they enhance their nation’s sanitation infrastructure. May these improvements reduce disease and support increased health for the country’s citizens. (3 John 1:2)

24. God, may effective support networks be created in Paraguay that will increase options for women in poverty to have economic stability and development. (Matt. 5:42)

25. Father, draw the hearts of religious extremists to know you. Grant courage to your children, when they encounter hostility, to respond in love and truth with the gospel in word and deed. (John 6:44)

26. We ask you, Lord, to provide projects and partnerships with businesses that will enable impoverished women in South Africa to generate sustainable incomes. (Prov. 19:17)

27. Almighty God, we pray for our sisters in the Nyarugusu refugee camp of Tanzania who listen to Women of Hope. May their needs for Bibles, radios and sewing machines be met. (Phil. 4:6)

28. Lord, may Timor-Leste’s economy stabilize and prosper. Give wisdom to the country’s leaders to create job opportunities, help alleviate poverty and provide food security for their people. (Jer. 29:11)

29. Have mercy, Father in heaven, on those in Uruguay who have been harmed by natural disasters and lost loved ones and earthly goods. (Job 1:21-22)

30. Lord, multiply the resources needed to rebuild Vietnam after Super Typhoon Yagi devastated many parts. Bring strength and hope to its people as they rebuild their lives and communities. (2 Cor. 9:8)
