In many Central Asian countries, owning a Bible or Christian literature is illegal, and even crossing borders with such materials is risky. So, how can we reach those yearning for truth and meaning in remote regions where access to the Bible is limited and prohibited? The answer lies in radio and discreet devices, which allow God’s Word to cross borders via airwaves without physically crossing them. This enables us to transform lives by spreading the hope and empowerment of the gospel!
For believers in these areas who can’t attend church or receive visits from leaders, our team in Central Asia provides radios, media players and SD cards to spiritually equip and encourage them. Our medium-wave transmitter broadcasts transformative programs like Women of Hope, which supports women facing inequality and loneliness; Springs of Living Water, offering weekly spiritual nourishment on themes like the character of Jesus and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to overcome difficulties; and The Way of Righteousness, presenting biblical stories and salvation messages to Muslims in a clear, chronological format.
A pastor in the region shared, “I recently met a woman in search of spiritual guidance. She received the radio with profound gratitude and began listening to the programs daily. Her heart was filled with peace and joy, and her faith grew stronger. She shared with me that the programs helped her to better understand the Bible and find meaning in her life. Soon, she began to share what she had learned with her friends and neighbours, becoming an active participant in spreading the gospel. I witness the Lord working through these radios, bringing truth and hope to the lives of those who previously did not have the chance to hear God’s Word. Each testimony bolsters my conviction that this ministry is vital. Therefore, I am making a request to you: please provide us with more radios. The more people who can listen to Bible programs, the more hearts will be opened to Christ. Thank you for your support!”
A listener shared, “One of our sisters in the church has started to actively use social media to spread God's Word. She shares reels from our ministry’s Instagram page on her personal account. Her page has become a genuine source of spiritual truths for many. Every day, she posts short yet profound excerpts from our videos that address the most significant themes of faith, hope and love, including topics for families, youth and women. These posts draw the attention of not only her friends but also complete strangers. Through her account, she spreads the good news, which in turn inspires her even more.”
A member of the Central Asia team who broadcasts and records programs shared, “I always think about the people who look for the Word and listen to our broadcasting or use an app on their smartphones. It’s such a blessing for us to have this project in our language. I believe that God’s Word will always bring fruit and never return empty.”
With your prayers and support, we are creating a space through this ministry in Central Asia where the light of Christ illuminates the path for many who are searching. By God’s grace, our collective efforts are bearing fruit, and it inspires us to keep speaking hope!
