The Mission’s Conclusion, Part 2
The Mission’s Conclusion, Part 2
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9-10)
This is the mission of God.
A world made new and free of all the sin that previously plagued it now filled with his children from every corner of that world singing his praise.
This mission is not a fantasy or a wishful and flimsy idea, but it is a coming reality. God’s kingdom will come, and his will be done. God sends out his messengers and they proclaim his message of salvation and people from every corner of the world will know and proclaim that Jesus saves and is the Lord.
This is the mission that we have been sent on and it is the mission that we will see carried out by the grace of God.
Lord, haste the day when people from every nation, tribe and language know who you are and believe in your saving power!
Let us go out on this mission with hope and joy knowing that God will see it through to completion and let us rejoice at the thought of the day when we will all sing together of the salvation of our God.
