The Message, Part 1

“And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him…” (Colossians 1:21–22)

One day all of God’s children will be gathered together with their heavenly Father in endless peace and rejoicing, but before that day comes, we have a message to share with the world. The message is that which has saved us: Jesus Christ has come to reconcile sinners to God. Those who once had no hope now have a hope that will never be shaken.

We have peace with God and the promise of everlasting life. We have forgiveness of sins in Christ’s death on the cross. We have hope and a beautiful future that cannot be taken away

This is the message, the good news that we and all the world needs to hear.

Let us rejoice in this message and share it with all the ends of the earth with confidence and without shame. This is the message of the God who saves!
