Salvation
Salvation
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
All of God’s attributes, his grace, his justice, his mercy, his wrath, etc., are intrinsic to who he is. None of them can be taken away and he is not divided within himself. That means that each of his attributes are active in his saving us. That being said, his steadfast love is repeatedly shown as one of the most significant motivators in our salvation.
This saving love is promised to people from all over the world. Everyone who believes in who Jesus is and what he has done is met with eternal love and life. God has promised and will not change his mind “that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved” (Joel 2:32).
Because this salvation is for the world, we are called to go to the world with this promise, this good news. Salvation is for you, for your family, for your neighbour, for your co-worker, and for people of every tribe and nation and language, if only you trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Embrace this promise of salvation today and share it near and far for the glory of God and the hope of the world!
