Praise the Lord Who Loves His Children

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.” (1 John 3:1a) 

God has adopted us as sons and daughters. He has welcomed us into his home. See what kind of love the Father has given us! We are called children of God and that is who we are! We get to call him Abba, Father, and that is who he is to us! And he is a good and loving Father indeed! 

Matthew 7:9-11 says, “Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” 

Our Father in heaven knows better than anyone how best to love and care for his children. We can trust our lives, dreams, well-being, fears, troubles, and everything else into his perfectly loving hands. He is a good Father who loves us, his children. Let us praise him for his perfect love and trust in his good and loving care!
