Women’s Ministry

TWR Canada’s ministry to women includes TWR Women of Hope, which equips women around the world to discover the hope of Jesus, understand the Word of God and grow in faith.

3. Thousands of women worldwide pray for the ministry of TWR Women of Hope each month. Praise God for these faithful prayer warriors!

4. Pray that the TWR Women of Hope team in Paraguay effectively reaches out to imprisoned women across the country with the hope of the gospel.

5. In Cote d'Ivoire and Mali, Women of Hope is broadcast in French and Bambara. Pray that the women who listen understand God's love for them and the hope he provides.

6. Pray for Jeanne, TWR Women of Hope coordinator in Mali, as she plans for and speaks at churches and conferences in her own and surrounding countries.

7. Earlier this year, TWR Women of Hope leaders across West and Central Africa gathered in Cote d'Ivoire for fellowship and training. Praise God that each leader returned to her country encouraged and equipped to strengthen and grow the ministry.

8. Pray for TWR Women of Hope Global Director Susie Pek as she leads the ministry globally.

9. TWR Canada missionary Jonathan Griffiths is a consultant with TWR Women of Hope. Pray for him and the global leadership team as they strategize and make plans for the future.

 

Africa

From radio broadcasts to capital projects to on-the-ground ministry and the work of missionaries, our reach across Africa is vast, just like the region.

10. Pray that leaders across South Sudan are equipped with biblical leadership principles through the newly translated program, Tools for Wise Leadership. Pray that the program equips leaders in all spheres of influence across the country.

11. Across West Africa, people gather in groups to listen to Discipleship Essentials and other biblical programs and discuss what they have learned. Pray that each member grows in faith as they listen and discuss.

12. Our two programs in Burundi, Good News for All and Jesus is the Answer, speak hope to the nation. Pray that all who listen will grow in faith.

13. We are working with TWR Kenya to upgrade their FM network so that it can more effectively reach the country. Pray that everything needed to do the upgrades will come together quickly.

14. Pray for the Dunlop family in South Africa. Nathan is working on several audio and video production projects for TWR globally, and Megan continues her role as member care coordinator for the Africa region.

15. Pray for TWR Canada missionaries Greg and Ingrid Clarke in their roles as station manager and in the finance department at the transmitting site in Eswatini. Praise God for the recent celebration of 50 years of ministry in Eswatini!

16. Pray for children in Kenya to grow in their childlike faith and understanding of Gods Word as they listen to Bible Stories Alive, aired on four FM stations across the country.

 

China Ministry

Our China ministry includes SOTA, our 3-4 year seminary program for the Chinese church, as well as other ministry initiatives including Discipleship Essentials, Bible Stories Alive, and training events for Chinese church leaders.

17. SOTA now has three study tracks: the pastoral, ministry-focused, and missions tracks. Pray that students are effectively equipped in these focused paths of study.

18. Pray for the ministry-focused fellowship trainings held this year. Young believers have taken on some of the teaching responsibilities. Pray for them as they step into this new role.

19. Please pray that SOTA students across China will effectively implement what they learn from fellowships and their studies into their ministries. Pray that what they learn will assist them in leading and discipling others.

20. Pray for SOTA students who are pastors and missionaries. Some are closely monitored by the government. Pray for God’s protection, wisdom, strength and courage.

21. Pray for SOTA in Germany, where there are nearly 50 active students. These students represent

churches in approximately 30 cities across the country.

22. Many of the China ministry’s training sessions are done using online platforms. Please pray for protection while using these platforms.

23. Pray for the health and safety of the China ministry team around the world. Many are balancing multiple responsibilities.

 

Digital Ministry

Our digital ministry allows anyone, anywhere, at any time to gain access to a wide range of resources in their heart language.

24. Pray for those accessing content on TWR Canada’s Android and iOS apps, including the Speak Hope and Discipleship Essentials apps. Pray that these apps will be a beneficial resource to many around the world as they grow in their faith.

25. With digital technology, we have the opportunity to reach people at any time all around the world. Pray that those who discover these digital resources come to know God and place their trust in him.

26. TWR360 is TWR’s global digital distribution platform. Pray for those accessing resources on TWR360, such as Discipleship Essentials and Bible Stories Alive.

27. Praise God for new apps created in partnership with teams in Belarus and northwestern Europe in recent months!

28. Through our partnership with Media Impact International and their India Follow-up Centre, we are speaking hope to those in India who engage with our ministry partners on social media. Praise God for the more than 23,600 people who have heard the gospel through this initiative!

29. Across the Persian-speaking world, people hear God’s Word preached on our web radio station. Pray that their faith is deepened as they listen.

30. Many TWR radio stations around the world also stream their broadcasts online. Pray for those listening in this way from all around the globe.
