Women’s Ministry

TWR Canada’s ministry to women includes TWR Women of Hope, which equips women around the world to discover the hope of Jesus, understand the Word of God and grow in faith.

1. Pray for TWR Women of Hope Global Director Susie Pek as she leads the ministry globally.

2. TWR Canada missionary Jonathan Griffiths is a consultant with TWR Women of Hope. Pray for him and the global leadership team as they strategize and make plans for the future.

3. Around the world, thousands of women pray for the ministry of TWR Women of Hope each month. Praise God for these faithful prayer warriors!

Ministry to Children

Our ministry to children includes Bible Stories Alive, a series of stories chronicling the lives of people in the Bible, such as Adam and Eve, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, in a way that brings the stories to life and makes the listener feel like they are there.

4. Pray for Dr. Griffiths and his team at Bible Stories Alive as they edit the English stories for translation into other languages. Praise God for Dr. Griffiths’ faithful life of ministry!

5. Across Latin America and the Caribbean, Bible Stories Alive is aired in Spanish on local FM stations. Pray that those who listen will grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.

6. The Spanish and Arabic stories are recorded in the studio in our London office. Pray for the production teams, including TWR Canada missionary Jeremy Mullin, and presenters Gisselle and Manal, as they produce the stories.

7. In Kenya, Bible Stories Alive is aired in Swahili on four FM stations across the country, one of which reaches into Ethiopia as well. Pray that the many eager children who listen will grow in their faith.

8. Pray for the translation and production teams working on the Persian stories. Pray that these stories will be an effective tool for sharing God’s Word with the Persian-speaking world.

9. Pray for the distribution of the Mandarin stories on tablets and online through TWR Canada’s Chinese ministry. Pray that the children and families who read and listen to these stories will grow in their faith together.

10. Across Cambodia, children listen to Happy Children’s Garden (based on Bible Stories Alive) programs in groups. Praise God for the growth in faith in these children and their families.

Persian Ministry

For more than 40 years, we have been reaching the Persian-speaking world with the hope of the gospel. Through web radio, social media, training conferences and more, we continue to see believers strengthened in their faith and new disciples being made.

11. Pray that those who listen to our web radio station will be encouraged by the messages they hear and choose to place their faith in Jesus.

12. Pray for those interacting on our Persian social media channels. Many young Persian speakers are tired of religion and have questions about Jesus and Christianity. Pray that they will find the answers they seek.

13. Pray for those across the Persian-speaking world who receive SD cards, Bibles and other resources. Pray that they will grow in faith.

14. Praise God for the recent conferences that have brought together seekers and believers in the Persian-speaking world for Christian teaching and fellowship!

15. Pray for our Persian ministry leader, Tony, as he encourages and mentors Persian believers.

16. Pray for the Persian ministry team as they work together to grow the Persian ministry and reach the Persian-speaking world with the hope of the gospel.

17. As the Persian ministry team looks at new ways of reaching the Persian-speaking world with God’s Word, pray for God’s wisdom and direction in planning.

Digital Ministry

Our digital ministry allows anyone, anywhere, at any time to gain access to a wide range of resources in their heart language.

18. With digital technology, we have the opportunity to reach people at any time all around the world. Pray for those who discover these digital resources and that they will come to know God through them.

19. TWR360 is TWR’s global digital distribution platform. Pray for those accessing resources on TWR360, such as Discipleship Essentials and Bible Stories Alive.

20. We are working with several partners to create Android and iOS apps for their ministries. Pray for the development process and that those who access the content will grow in faith.

21. Pray for those accessing content on TWR Canada’s Android and iOS apps, including the Speak Hope and Discipleship Essentials apps. Pray that these apps will be a beneficial resource to many around the world as they grow in their faith.

22. Through our partnership with Media Impact International and their India Follow-up Centre, we are speaking hope to those in India who engage with our ministry partners on social media. Praise God we have already distributed over 150,000 digital Bibles and other Christian materials!

23. Across the Persian-speaking world, people hear God’s Word preached on our web radio station. Pray that their faith will be deepened.

24. Many TWR radio stations around the world also stream their broadcasts online. Pray for those listening in this way from all around the globe.

Europe & CAMENA

While Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa are diverse in culture and language, one commonality is the need to hear the gospel. Radio programming, media content, training conferences and missionaries are all part of our ministry in this region of the world.

25. Pray for those listening to Voice of Truth in Prilep, North Macedonia. Praise God for the way he uses this program and the faithful ministry of pastor Edijan to speak hope to the Roma people.

26. We created a series of biblical songs and videos for Roma children in Serbia. Pray for the leaders who have recently received training in ministering to children. Pray that these songs will reach the children’s hearts and make a profound impact.

27. In partnership with Words of Hope, we are in the early stages of translating and producing Discipleship Essentials into Albanian to provide foundational Christian teachings for this nation. Pray for those involved in this process and for those who will use this material to grow in their faith.

28. We are working with TWR Belarus to expand their digital ministry through an app and studio equipment. Please pray that the expanded digital ministry will effectively reach the nation with the hope of the gospel. Praise God that the app has recently been released!

29. In Central Asia, media players are an effective tool for providing programming to hard-to-reach places. Pray that those who receive a player will be encouraged in their faith.

30. Pray for our partner in the Middle East and North Africa, Together Network, as they train believers, many of whom are from a Muslim background, to share their faith and create spiritual movements using Discipleship Essentials and other resources.

31. Pray that our teams in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus can continue speaking hope through media during this time of war and hardship.
