Brent Campbell Chosen to Lead TWR Canada
After an exhaustive executive search, TWR Canada’s board of directors is pleased to announce that Brent Campbell of London, Ontario, will become president and CEO of TWR Canada effective March 3, 2025.
Steve Shantz, who has been interim president since March 1, 2024, will assist with Campbell’s onboarding during a transition period. Shantz will then retire after having served the Lord with TWR for 43 years.
Campbell joins TWR Canada after 15 years with Teen Challenge Canada, where he has been part of the Executive team. He brings to his new position more than 25 years of leadership experience, including a decade in pastoral ministry focused on discipleship and team development.
An entrepreneur with a strong background in the nonprofit sector, Campbell has excelled in strategic planning, marketing and media communications. He said his decision to transition from a fulfilling role at Teen Challenge Canada is the result of a clear calling from God and a deep alignment with TWR Canada’s mission.
“I am eager to bring my experience, passion and faith to TWR Canada, where we can use innovative media and strategic partnerships to share the gospel worldwide,” Campbell said.
Steve Shantz now embarks on a new season of life confident that the media ministry and its new leader are well-positioned to use ever-changing communication technology to reach the world with the timeless truth of God’s Word.
“I am grateful to the TWR Canada board for their countless hours of reviewing candidate profiles, sitting through interviews and hours spent in candidate review meetings,” Shantz said. “I am also grateful to God for leading us to such a qualified and gifted individual. This assures me that the Lord has a plan and purpose for the ministry and TWR Canada’s growth in the years ahead.”
Join us in welcoming Brent Campbell to the work and fellowship of the TWR community.
